Personal
I love supporting anyone who has been marginalized and I am uniquely capable of supporting these clients because I am also a minority and have experienced everything that comes with that. It has become my mission to amplify the voices of the voiceless, supporting people who have been marginalized to realize their value and learn to show up in full authenticity.
I’m also genuinely interested in and curious about who my clients are and have a deep desire to truly listen, hear and witness them so they leave each of our calls re-energized and filled up.
What’s cool about the way I work is it can be very fun - this is not a sit down therapy session. Our work doesn’t have to be all heavy, it can also be joyful, celebratory and exciting! As a coach my work is not about fixing problems, it is about helping you find clarity, resourcing you and energizing you to help you move forwards in a powerful direction.
These will be like no other conversations you’ve ever had. These will be conversations that result in big change. We will make magic together and in the end, you’re going to be a different person.
Professional
Before becoming a coach I worked in the corporate world, having spent 15 years in the financial services and insurance industries. Most recently I was the Executive Director of the Credit Union Insurance Services Association (CUISA). I was responsible for representing Credit Union insurance operations in the province of British Columbia including regular negotiations with governmental organizations on ongoing business relationships with brokers. I lead annual conferences with over 200 participants throughout the province.
I was also fortunate enough to have co-hosted international business events with broker partners during that time.
Prior to making the jump from the financial sector to insurance, I was working in Human Resources in departmental and organizational event planning for one of Canada’s largest Credit Unions.
My background also includes being a Real Estate Agent as well as Operations Manager for a non profit child care facility with over two dozen staff and two hundred program participants.

1. I’m allergic to all fruits that grow on trees.
2. When I was a kid I wanted to be a microbiologist.
3. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day.
4. I can’t cook but I’m a pretty decent baker.
5. In high school I played the piano, clarinet and oboe. I can’t play any of them anymore.
6. Autumn is my favourite season. I love turtle necks and sweaters.
7. The best concert I’ve ever been to is Pink.
8. My favourite sport to watch and play is volleyball.
9. My first job was selling newspaper subscriptions over the phone.
10. I have won two Axe throwing competitions.
11. My favourite stand up comedian is Amy Schumer.
12. I love to dance and used to be a certified Zumba instructor.
